STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – The Allegheny women's lacrosse team closed out their regular season with a 15-5 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) victory on the road at Franciscan Saturday (April 29).
The win locked up the number two seed in the upcoming PAC Championship Tournament.
Thrwe Gators hit milestones in the game.
Senna Perelman (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) notched her 100th point of the season while
Lauren Petrarca (Simi Valley, Calif./Royal) registered her 100th career point.
Grace Baginski (Lakeville, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) scored her 100th career goal.
The Gators jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the first quarter. Petrarca scored unassisted before Perelman scored back-to-back goals, the first assisted by Baginski. Perelman's second goal marked the 100th point of the season for the senior midfielder.
Liz Dolan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hampton) notched the fourth goal on Baginski's second assist before the Barons got on the board.
Similar to the first quarter, Petrarca scored early in the second off a feed by
Amelia Henderson (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny).
Ashley Amato (Westerly, R.I./Westerly) then scored unassisted to make it 6-1. Franciscan scored in the latter half of the frame as Allegheny took a 6-2 lead into halftime.
Allegheny outscored Franciscan 7-0 in the third quarter. Baginski scored three goals in the frame. The second goal was the 100th of her career. She also assisted a goal by
Emily Herrold (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley). Petrarca also scored three goals in the 15 minutes while
Ema Caragein (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seton La Salle) added a goal.
Petrarca scored her sixth goal of the game on a free-position early in the fourth before the Barons broke up the Gator run. The Barons owned a 3-1 advantage in the quarter but it was not enough to overcome the Allegheny advantage.

- Petrarca led the Gators with six goals while causing three turnovers.
- Baginski had three goals and three assists.
- Amato had a goal and an assist while causing a career-high five turnovers and collecting five groundballs and four draw controls.
- Perelman had two goals with five draw controls and two groundballs.
- Herrold, Caragein and Dolan had goals while Henderson added an assist.
- Dolan also had five draw controls.
- Molly Wojcik (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hampton), Sybi Gerhart (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) and Henderson had three groundballs each. Henderson also caused four turnovers.
- Sarah Thorman (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) earned the win in net, making two saves. Macy Simons (Catonsville, Md./Western Tech) made a pair of saves in the fourth.
- As a team, the Gators caused 21 turnovers.

- The Gators finish the regular season with a 13-4 overall record and an 8-1 mark in PAC play. They will be the two seed in the PAC Championship Tournament.
- The 13 wins mark the most in a season since 2014.
- Allegheny is now 2-0 all-time against Franciscan.
- Perelman notched her 100th point of the season, the first Gator to do so since Shelby Piper achieved the mark in 2018.
- Baginski scored her 100th goal of her career, the 13th Gator to reach that plateau.
- Petrarca had her 100th career point.
