PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Allegheny women's tennis team concluded their 2022-23 regular season with a road loss to 11th-ranked Carnegie Mellon Sunday (April 16).
The closest match of the day for the Gators came at second singles.
Jean-Arlette Legrand (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Commonwealth Parkville School) won her opening set in a tiebreaker 7-6 (7-4). The Tartans' Manuela Van Cotthem won the second set 6-1 to set-up a third set tiebreaker. Legrand was unable to prevail in the tiebreaker, falling 10-5.
