Day One Results

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Allegheny men's swimming and diving team started competition at the 2023 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships with the 800 freestyle relay Wednesday (Feb. 15).
 
The relay team of Pierre Jaeggi (Fountain Valley, Calif./Valiant Prep), Jack Malnar (Brecksville, Ohio/Brecksville-Broadview Heights), Emmet Fluharty (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) and Daniel Jackson (Warwick, N.Y./Warwick Valley) finished the race in second, clocking in at 7:01.45. That time was the sixth fastest time in program history. The finish earned the Gators 34 points.
 
The second day of competition at Grove City, which features the 200 freestyle relay, 500 freestyle, 200 individual medley, 50 freestyle and the 400 medley relay, starts tomorrow with prelims at 10 am followed by finals at 6 pm.
