Full PAC Release

TRAFFORD, Pa. – Angelee Bawek (Goodyear, Ariz./Estrella Foothills) of the Allegheny volleyball team was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Newcomer of the Week for her performance in a pair of conference victories last week.
 
This marks the second time this season Bawek has earned the honor.
 
Last week, Bawek tallied 22 kills, 27 digs and six aces in wins against Thiel and Grove City.
 
Against Thiel, Bawek had 12 kills, five aces and four digs. Bawek followed up that performance against Grove City with 13 digs, 10 kills and an ace.
 
For the season, Bawek leads the team with 212 kills and is second with 173 digs.
 
The Gators are back in action Tuesday (Oct. 10) at Chatham.
