CLARION, Pa. – The Allegheny men's swimming and diving team competed against Division II Clarion on the road Saturday (Oct. 28).
 
The Gators fell to the Golden Eagles 196-12.
 
Emmett Manning (Holmdel, N.J./Holmdel) placed third in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.73. Jack Malnar (Brecksville, Ohio/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) also had a third-place finish, completing the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:53.00.
 
Emmet Fluharty (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) took fourth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.99 while Jacob Anderson (Jamestown, N.Y./Jamestown) finished fourth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:08.92.
 
The 200 freestyle relay team placed third, finishing with a time of 1:31.79 while the 200 medley relay team was fourth with a time of 1:45.70.
