MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny tennis team hosted Westminster in a nonconference match Thursday (April 14).
 
Allegheny swept the Titans 9-0.
 
Anton Hedlund (Hovas, Sweden/Katrinelundsgymnasiet) and Julien Voisey (Tokyo, Japan/ES International School) were unblemished in their first doubles match, winning 8-0. Adam Shinomiya (Portland, Ore./International School of Beaverton) and Fabrizzio Reategui (Boca Raton, Fla./Boca Prep International) won 8-2 at second doubles while Wonjoon Cho (Wichita, Kan./Wichita Collegiate School) and David Salazar II (Newburgh, N.Y./Newburgh Free Academy) won 8-1 at third doubles.
 
Hedlund, Shinomiya, Reategui and Voisey all won their second matches of the day in singles action. Will Jarvie (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) and Nate Chubb (Akron, N.Y./Akron Central) won 6-0, 6-1 each at fifth and sixth singles, respectively.
 
The Gators are back in action Saturday (April 16), playing host to Kenyon in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) play.
