GENEVA, N.Y. – The Allegheny women's tennis team fell in a close 5-4 matchup against William Smith on the road Saturday (March 5).
The Gator third doubles team of
Lauren Passarelli (Erie, Pa./Villa Maria Academy) and
Taylor Hayes (Geneva, Ill./Geneva Academy) collected an 8-1 victory.
Allegheny also picked up wins at fourth, fifth and sixth singles.
Jean-Arlette Legrand (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Commonwealth Parkville School) won at fourth singles 6-0, 6-1.
Allison Riley (Twinsburg, Ohio/Twinsburg) had a 7-5, 6-2 victory at fifth singles while
Noelle Kidd (Broadview Heights, Ohio/North Royalton) had a clean 6-0, 6-0 sweep at sixth singles.
The Gators are back in action Sunday (March 6) as they take on Ithaca.
