MEADVILLE, Pa. -- It was a pair of victories for the Allegheny cross country teams at the annual home Allegheny College Invitational at the Robertson Athletic Complex.

On the men's side, the Gators totaled 19 points, which included seven of the top nine finishes on the four-mile course. For the women, the home team placed seven runners in the top 15 to post 40 points.

For the second race in a row, Tim Weighart (Brookline, Mass./Brookline) and Emma Wall (Douglas, Mass./Douglas) were the top finishers for the Blue & Gold, with Weighart earning the victory on the men's side with hsi time of 21:23.7, while Wall crossed the finish line second in the women's race in 18:44.

Allegheny will be back on the course for the annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh in Bethlehem, Pa. on Friday, Oct. 1.
