ERIE, Pa. -- The Allegheny women's golf team competed in the two-day Gannon Spring Invitational over the weekend and finished in fifth place as the only Division III team in the field.Â
Jenny Beth Brundige (South Fulton, Tenn./South Fulton) carded a final score of 173 (88-85), putting her in a tie for 18th place overall.Â
Emily Stelman (Goffstown, N.H./Goffstown) finished with a 181 (92-89) after two days.
Izzy Krzys shot two more strokes for a final score of 183 (90-93).Â
Kelcie Jackson (Miami Gardens, Fla./American Senior) and
Sarah Pillittieri (Jamestown, N.Y./Jamestown) rounded out the Gators with scores of 187 (95-92) and 199 (107-92) respectively.Â
Lili Fogland (Omaha, Neb./Westside) competed as an individual and finished with a final score of 196 (106-90), dropping her score 16 strokes between days one and two.Â
Allegheny will be back in action on Saturday April, 24 for the first round of the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championships, hosted by Denison.
