Four in double figures lead Gators past Lions, 76-64

ALTOONA, Pa. -- The Allegheny women's basketball team began its home-and-away series with a 76-64 road win over Penn State-Altoona.
 
With four Gators recording double-digit point performances, senior guard Rylee Donovan (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler Area) led Allegheny with 17 points, including four three-pointers. 
 
Sophomore guard Alexis Caldwell (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Whitefish Bay) and senior forward Julianna Skowron (Sewickley, Pa./Oakland Catholic) contributed with 16 points each. Caldwell knocked down three of her shots from behind the three-point line.
 
Freshman forward Jenna Lutz (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) added 10 points of her own and was a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line.
 
The Gators will complete their home-and-away series when the Lions travel to Meadville on Saturday. Tipoff from the James H. Mullen Jr. Arena is scheduled for 1 p.m. A select number of members of the Allegheny College campus community will be permitted to attend Saturday's game.
