WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Allegheny women's basketball team's season continued Tuesday (Nov. 23) with a nonconference loss at Washington & Jefferson, 78-54.
 
Emily Lauer (Knox, Pa./Keystone) led Allegheny with 12 points and eight rebounds.  Jenna Manke (Freeport, Pa./Freeport) had nine points with three rebounds while Gabby Culotta (Willoughby, Ohio/Andrews Osborne Academy) also tallied nine points.  Sydney Cook (New Brighton, Pa./New Brighton) added seven points.
 
Jenna Lutz (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) blocked four shots while grabbing five rebounds and adding a pair of steals.  Alexis Caldwell (Whitefish Bay, Wisc./Whitefish Bay) had three blocks to go alongside six points and four rebounds.
 
The Gators return to the friendly confines of the James H Mullen Jr. Arena Saturday (Nov. 27) as they play host to Penn State Behrend at 2 pm.
