GREENCASTLE, Ind.— The Allegheny women's basketball team dropped its first North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) game of the season on the road against eighth-ranked DePauw, 69-50, on Friday (Jan. 3).
 
Zoe Youdell (Connellsville, Pa./Connellsville Area) led the Gator offense with 12 points. She also led the team with eight rebounds. Alexis Caldwell (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Whitefish Bay) joined Youdell in double figures, netting 11 points. Chloe Rabold (Baden, Pa./Ambridge) went for eight points off the bench. Kelechi Dimgba (Greece, N.Y./Greece Athena) and Brooke Smith (New Kensington, Pa./Burrell) were also key contributors off the bench, scoring six and five points, respectively.
 
The Gators (6-6 overall, 2-1 NCAC) have a quick turnaround as they play on the road at Wittenberg on Saturday (Jan. 4) at 4 p.m.
