WOOSTER, Ohio - Two first half goals lead to the Allegheny women's soccer team falling to Wooster on Tuesday (Oct. 29).
Maya Hackman (Derry, Pa./Derry Area) made six saves in the match. Her biggest stop came in the 56th minute as a trip inside the box allowed a Wooster penalty shot. Hackman timed it perfectly and kept the deficit at two.
Wooster scored in the 18th and 28th minutes, with Kelsey Hall and Kelsey Stone providing the finishing touches.
Emily Orr (Coraopolis, Pa./Moon Area) led the offense with two shots, and the trio of
Sarah Lipniskis (Sarver, Pa./Freeport),
Alex Klare (Cincinatti, Ohio/Ursuline Academy), and
Shannon McGuinn (Warminster, Pa./William Tennant) each tallied one.
The Gators head back to the pitch for their final regular season match of 2019 on Saturday (Nov. 2), as they travel to Wittenberg with game time slated for 3:30 p.m.
