OBERLIN, Ohio—The Allegheny volleyball team fell on the road to Oberlin College, 3-0, in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) action Wednesday (Oct. 1).
 
The Yeowomen won the sets 25-15, 25-19 and 25-14.
 
Cheyenne Wilson (Chico, Calif./Pleasnt Valley) led the Gators with five kills.  Jyl Russotti (Rochester, N.Y./Bishop Kearney) supplied four kills while Jillian Kirby (Cincinnati, Ohio/Clermont Northeastern) added three.  Olivia D'Andrea (Pittsburgh, Pa./Serra Catholic) had 10 assists.  Russotti and Taylor Besch (Chicago, Ill./Resurrection) each had a pair of aces.
 
Besch and Rebecca MacQuarrie (Waterford, Pa./Fort Leboeuf) had seven digs apiece to lead the Gator defense.  D'Andrea added six while Dariellis Frias had five. 
 
The Gators are back in action Saturday (Oct. 5) when they travel to Kenyon College for a NCAC contest.
