SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- The Gators dropped a consecutive game against a ranked team by falling at No. 24 Wittenberg, 80-58.
Jordan Rawls posted his fifth double-double of the season and the 13th of his career by leading the Gators with 17 points and 12 rebounds. The junior has now reached double digits in points in all seven games during the 2019 calendar year, upping his scoring average by nearly four points per game in the process (12.5 to 16.3).
Brian Roberts, Jr. also continued his streak of reaching double figures to span the 2019 calendar, putting up 15 points to go with three rebounds and three assists.
Zach Ecker added eight points and six rebounds off the bench, while
Josh Ratesic posted six points.
Allegheny will continue the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) slate for 2018-19 when it hosts Wabash (6 p.m.) and DePauw (2 p.m.) on Friday-Saturday, Feb. 1-2. On Friday night, the Gators will host a "White Out" with fans receiving a free t-shirt (while supplies last). Any fan that arrives by 6 p.m. will receive a raffle ticket for a halftime drawing for one of three $25 Amazon gift cards.
