GREENCASTLE, Ind.—The Allegheny College women's basketball team concluded their 2017-18 season in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) quarterfinals as they fell at sixth-ranked and top-seeded DePauw University 90-48 Tuesday (Feb. 20).
Rylee Donovan led the Gators with 17 points, hitting a trio of threes. She also led the Gators with four assists while sharing the team-high with four rebounds.
Brooke Smith also hit double-digits in scoring, finishing with ten points. She also totaled five steals.
Delaney Arbore scored seven while
Zoe Soilis had six.
Shannon Relihan collected four rebounds.
Madison Caufield had a pair of blocks.
For the game, the Gators shot 31.6% (18-of-57) from the floor. The Gators turned the ball over 13 times while forcing 19 from the Tigers. The 19 turnovers from DePauw translated into 15 Allegheny points. At the free-throw line, the Gators converted six-of-eight opportunities.
The Tigers were led by Sydney Kopp's game-high 21 points. Maya Howard tallied nine assists to go with her 15 points. Claire Keefe netted 13 points while Emily Budde scored 10.
DePauw shot 55.9% (33-of-59) from the floor, including 50% (11-of-22) from beyond the arc.
