GAMBIER, Ohio—The Allegheny College volleyball opened up North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) play at Kenyon College Saturday (Sept. 23).
Kenyon picked up the win 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-17).
Offensively,
Leah Franzluebbers led the Gators with 10 kills, while
Karissa Welker had seven and
Alysha Crowther and
Grace Lengauer five apiece.
Justine Kelly assisted on 27 points.
Rebecca MacQuarrie led the team with two service aces while Kelly had one.
Terra Schall led the Gator defense with 24 digs. MacQuarrie also reached double digits in that category with 10. Kelly added seven.
For Kenyon, Maleah Miller and Haley Witschey had nine kills apiece while Jensen Shubert and Schuyler Stupica had eight. Carly Uhlir led the Ladies with 19 digs.
The Gators are back in action Friday (Sept. 29) as they play host to Westminster College at 7 p.m.
