The Allegheny football team concludes its two-game home stand with a Saturday afternoon bout with North Coast Athletic Conference rival Denison. The Gators look to even their conference record at 1-1 after falling 49-35 in an offensive slugfest with Wooster last Saturday night at Frank B. Fuhrer Field. Quarterback Logan Lee threw for 282 yards and four touchdowns, while Alex Victor made five catches for 159 yards and two scores in the defeat. This week marks the conference opener for the Big Red, who are coming off of a bye week after out-slugging Southwestern 49-31 in their opener on Sept. 2. The Gators will be looking for their first win over the Big Red since 2011, after falling 42-28 at Denison last season.
