MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny College volleyball team dropped a North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) match to nationally-ranked Wittenberg University this afternoon, falling in three sets from the David V. Wise Center.
Allegheny (10-6, 0-2 NCAC) couldn't contain the high-powered Wittenberg (12-1, 2-0 NCAC) attack as the Tigers hit at a .351 clip for the match.

Leah Franzluebbers was a part of all four team blocks for the Gators, getting two assists apiece from sophomores
Morgan Bush and
Hannah Cubarney.
Wittenberg, ranked No. 8 in the nation, picked up 10 kills each from Kara Seidenstricker and Maddie Fischer.
Allegheny will leave the Keystone State for the first time this season when it continues the NCAC slate of its schedule on Wednesday, Sept. 30 against Wooster. Opening serve is set for 7:00 p.m. from the Timken Gymnasium.
