BEREA, Ohio – A quick-striking and consistent offense pushed Baldwin Wallace, ranked No. 15 in the most recent D3Baseball.com Top 25 Poll, past the Gators in a doubleheader sweep on Tuesday at Heritage Field. Shick followed with a single to right to score Bronson, giving the Gators their fourth run. However, Baldwin Wallace locked down the Gators in the seventh to end the game and clinch the sweep for the Yellow Jackets.

Both runners moved into scoring position after a wild pitch, as both runners scored after a single through the left side by Killian, putting the Gators on the board.
In the eighth, first year
Chase Davis forced a walk, the first of six consecutive walks to Gator batters that plated three runs. Beaumont closed the Gator scoring with a one-out fielder's choice that sent Gray home to give the Gators their sixth run of the contest. Allegheny was retired in order to close the game in the ninth.
