GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Allegheny College volleyball team fell to Denison University in straight sets (9-25, 16-25, 18-25) on the Big Red's Senior Day this afternoon.
Allegheny (14-8, 1-4 NCAC) had no answer for an efficient Denison (11-9, 3-2 NCAC) attack as the Big Red hit at a .291 clip in the match.

Morgan Bush led the Gators with six kills apiece. Sophomore middle hitter
Leah Franzluebbers connected on four swings at the net, while freshman
Bree Blair notched three kills as she played every set for the first time in her career.
Sophomore libero
Terra Schall was the lone Allegheny player in double-digits for digs as she collected 20. This is the 11th time this season in which she has recorded at least 20 digs in a match.
Blair was one of three Gators to stop two Denison attacks at the net as she registered both a solo block and an assist. Bush and senior middle hitter
Sarah Swartz added two block assists on the afternoon.
Freshmen
Rachel Slotterback and
Bri Ashley split time at setter, with each dishing out nine assists without a single ball-handling error.
With 45 more digs, Schall will move into 10th for digs in Allegheny single-season history. Schall currently has 522 for the season.
Allegheny continues a six-match road trip on Wednesday, Oct. 21 when it travels to Oberlin.
