BRADFORD, Pa. – Senior
Catherine Kasianowicz recorded 26 digs for the Gators, one of three members of the Blue and Gold to score 10 or more digs in Allegheny's 3-0 win over Pitt-Bradford on Wednesday evening.
Kasianowicz finished the contest leading the team in digs and service aces, scoring a pair of aces for the Gators. Freshman
Terra Schall recorded 17 digs for Allegheny, while freshman
Kylee Karczewski picked up 10. First year
Justine Kelly scored 36 assists while junior
Julia Weeks finished the contest with a game-high 12 kills. Fellow third year
Taylor Samuel finished the contest with nine kills.

Leah Franzluebbers led the Gators at the front line with seven assisted blocks, while junior
Sarah Swartz made three solo stops. The Gators held the Panthers to a .074 clip while making 12 total blocks, hitting a .314 clip in the final set of the evening.
Allegheny picked up a 25-21 win in the first set before recording six total kills in a 25-11, second set victory. The Gators then capped their sweep with a 25-22 win in set three.
The Gators will next travel to Washington, D.C. for the Worthington Classic, hosted by Gallaudet University, on Friday, where the squad will battle Olivet and DeSales before meeting the hosting Bison the following day.
