Junior Sarah Vorder Bruegge pieced together her best collegiate round in two seasons in leading the Gators to the team title at the 2012 Allegheny Invitational hosted by The Country Club of Meadville. Vorder Bruegge captured medalist honors for the second time in her career while tying her career-low 36-hole score.

Vorder Bruegge was sensational, dropping three birdies on the back nine while finishing the day at three-over par. Her two-day total of 155 (79-76) tied her career low set during the 2011 NCAC Championship series and equaled the seventh-best 36-hole score in program history. Her single-round score of 76 also tied a career low at the collegiate level.
