Abby Silvester, a junior midfielder on the Allegheny women's lacrosse team, was named the North Coast Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Silvester scored seven goals in a pair of wins for the Gators (6-7, 3-2 NCAC) last week. She scored two goals in the win over Waynesburg and then netted a game-high five goals, including the game winner in double overtime against Denison.  The win over the Big Red secured Allegheny a spot in the conference playoffs.
