The sophomore opened up the year with a 4-for-4, two double, five RBI, two SB performance in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader before walking, being hit by a pitch and stealing a base in the night cap. On Sunday, he registered another multi-hit showing, going 2-for-5 with two runs and a steal as the Gators posted the 9-5 victory.
