At the John Homon Open, Zack Casagrande won the javelin throw for the second-straight week and finished in the top two for the third time this season. He improved on his mark from the previous week at Wooster by more than seven meters (approximately 23 feet) by tossing 54.5 meters (178, 10 inches). His mark is tops in the NCAC this year by nearly four meters.
