Emily Forner competed at the Grand Valley State University Big Meet on Friday (Feb. 8), earning the NCAC Distance Runner of the Week honor for her effort. Finishing seventh in the 39-runner field of the 3,000-meter run at GVSU with a time of 9:41.15, she broke her own school record in the event by nearly seven seconds. As the only Division III competitor in the field at GVSU, her time is the fourth fastest among Division III runners in 2018-19.
