Rawls led Allegheny to its first win over a ranked opponent since 2007 when the Gators took down Wabash, 80-68, in front of a capacity crowd on Friday night, Feb. 1, the same night the school announced the renaming of the performance arena after outgoing president James H. Mullen, Jr. Against the Little Giants, Rawls scored 31 points (his fifth career 30-point game), including 22 in the second half, on 8-of-10 shooting (3-of-4 from three-point range) and 12-of-14 from the charity stripe. He also pulled down six rebounds despite playing just 27 minutes. In Saturday's loss to DePauw, Rawls put up 21 points and eight rebounds, connecting on eight of his 15 attempts from the floor and all five free throws. It marked the 25th time in his collegiate career he's topped 20 points in a contest.
