Kurtis Williams had a solid showing at the Wooster Fighting Scots Invitational Saturday (Jan. 26) as he earned both NCAC and Gator Athlete of the Week honors. Williams won both the shot put and weight throw on Saturday, both with season-long distances. In the shot put, he tossed 14.05m (46 feet, 01.25 inches) and in the weight throw he recorded a distance of 17.44m (57-02.75).
