Senior Marcus Davenport led an impressive defensive effort by the Gators in their 25-17 win over North Coast Athletic Conference foe Ohio Wesleyan. Davenport made a total of eight tackles on the day, including two quarterback sacks and 5.0 tackles for loss, as the Gators surrendered just 205 yards of offense, and only 48 on the ground. The 5.0 TFLs marked the most in a single game for a Gator since the statistic was officially tracked beginning in 2001.  Through four games this season, Davenport leads the NCAC in both TFL's (9.0) and sacks (4.5).
