Senior Jessica Zavolta led the Gator softball team to a perfect 6-0 week.
Zavolta helped the Gators go 6-0 on the week, which included a pair of North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) sweeps. On the week, the catcher hit .529 with nine hits, three runs, a double, a homerun and nine RBI with a slugging percentgae of .765 and an on-base percentage of .579. Zavolta shined in the final doubleheader of the weekend against Ohio Wesleyan. In game one, Zavolta provided the walk-off, two RBI hit that gave the Gators the 8-7 win. In game two, Zavolta came through in the clutch once more as she provided the eventual game winning RBI in the bottom of the sixth, as the Gators took the game 7-6.
