At the Wooster Fighting Scot Indoor Invitational, junior Kurtis Williams earned 18 points over two events for the Gators. In the weight throw, Williams placed first in a field of 15 with a throw of 17.09 meters (56'1"). It measured over six feet further than the second-place finisher, while it's the biggest in the event by a North Coast Athletic Conference athlete, and the 22nd best effort in NCAA Division III, this year. Williams would also add a second place finish at Wooster in the shot put with a heave that measured 13.49 meters (44'4"), less than three inches out of first place.
