Freshman Anna Verardi helped the Gators finish second in the nine team field at the Fredonia Blue Devil Invitational this past weekend.  Anna started the weekend with a win in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.54.  In the 100-yard backstroke, Verardi established a new Allegheny record with a first-place time of 58.51.  She wrapped up her individual wins in the 200-yard backstroke, winning with a time of 2:07.42.  Verardi also helped the Gators take first in the 400 medley relay, 200 free relay and the 400 free relay.
