In two games at the Greg Richards '08 Memorial Classic, Allegheny sophomore Jordan Rawls averaged a team-leading 17.0 points and 9.5 rebounds, while shooting 59.1 percent from the field. In the Gators' season-opener against Houghton, Rawls led Allegheny with 11 points and rebounds, before erupting for a 23-point, 11-rebounds double-double in a convincing win over Washington & Jefferson a day later. In the victory, Rawls shot 9-for-12 from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 from the foul line, while it marked his fifth career double-double.Â
