At the NCAA Division III National Championship on Saturday, junior Emily Forner was Allegheny's top finisher, as she placed 43rd in a 280-runner field with a 6-kilometer time of 21:40.6.  It was the highest finish for an Allegheny women's runner at the NCAA Championship since 1993, when Tina Chase placed eighth.  Forner's effort helped lead the Gators to an 18th-place finish at the NCAA race, marking their second top-20 finish in as many seasons.
