Allegheny College Athletics

Junior Matt Svetz placed first in a 265-runner field at the Inter-Regional Rumble, hosted by Oberlin College on October 14.  Svetz earned his first career win by covering the 8-kilometer course in 25:09, topping the field by just over four seconds.  It marked his third top-10 finish of the fall for the Gators, and helped Allegheny to a fourth-place finish among a 31-team field, while Svetz was also recognized as the North Coast Athletic Conference Runner of the Week for the first time in his career.
