Junior Tyler Balla had a memorable performance in the Gators' 57-40 win over Hiram, as the running back ran for 193 yards and a touchdown on just 25 carries. The 193 yards were the most for a Gator running back in a single game in 12 seasons, while he also became the first Allegheny player to rush for over 100 yards in three straight games since 2005. At the halfway point of the season, Balla ranks second in the North Coast Athletic Conference in both rushing yards (519) and touchdowns (7).
