Junior Bobby Hapanowicz fired back-to-back rounds of 72 to pace the Gators in the opening leg of the 2017 North Coast Athletic Conference Championship Series. Over the first two rounds, contested at The Country Club of Meadville, Hapanowicz was one of only three players in the 45-golfer field to shoot at or under par both days. He will head into the final two rounds of the championship, scheduled for Apr. 29-30 in Galena, Ohio, in fourth place in the individual leader board, just two strokes off the lead, while as a team, the Gators are tied for second.
