At the Ohio State Buckeye Tune-Up on Feb. 17, senior Amanda Balzer established a new school record in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.06 seconds in the preliminaries, and was the lone non-Division I athlete to qualify for the finals at the event, where she placed eighth with a time of 9.20 seconds.  The 9.06 second mark is the fastest time recorded by a North Coast Athletic Conference runner in the event this season.
