Gator women's track and field thrower Lauren Butler qualified for North Coast Athletic Conference Track and Field Championships with her second-place performance in the shot put at Baldwin-Wallace's Mid-January Meet.

Butler tossed the shot 11.85 meters (38 feet, 10 1/2 inches) and finished second to Holley Mangold of Ursuline (12.58 meters). She also took eighth in the weight throw with a distance of 11.75 meters (38-6 3/4).
