With her first career grand slam, Hailey Marthaler lifted the Gators past Wooster, 7-4, in the team's first NCAC twinbill of the season. After singling in the sixth inning, Marthaler stepped up to the plate with the bases loaded and her team trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh. She promptly deposited the first offering well beyond the fence in the left field corner for the walk-off grand slam. Her second home run of the season, it marked Marthaler's first career grand slam.
