Shelby Piper led the Gators with nine points, on seven goals and two assists, during the opening week of the season. In the season-opener against 2015 NCAA Division-III playoff semifinalist Augustana, the sophomore scored five points, on four goals and one assist.  She followed that performance up with a 3-goal, 1-assist afternoon in the Gators' 10-9 win at Frostburg State on Saturday, including the eventual game-winning goal.  In addition to her seven goals and two assists on the week, Piper also totaled four ground balls and one caused turnover.
