At Friday's Baldwin Wallace Mid-February Invitational, Josie Niovich twice established a new school record in the 55 meter hurdles. In the prelims, Niovich posted a school-record time of 8.73 seconds to qualify in second, before finishing with a time of 8.55 seconds in the finals to pick up the victory. It marked the third-fastest performance in the event by a North Coast Athletic Conference athlete this season. Niovich now is the school record-holder in both the 55 and 60 meter hurdles, and ranks second all-time in the 100m outdoor hurdles.
