Bronson played an integral role in Allegheny’s 3-2 record over the final five games of the team’s 2014 spring training trip, batting .300, picking up a .462 on base percentage in five games. Bronson started the week with a two-run blast, his second consecutive game with a home run, in a 3-2 Gator win over Hope on Mar. 17. The junior backstop then made a critical play against Ripon, catching a runner stealing with one out in the ninth to help preserve Allegheny’s 4-3 win over the Red Hawks on Mar. 20, scoring two runs in the victorious Gator effort.
