Steiner collected a pair of all-conference honors at the 2013 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) championships. On the first day of competition, the freshman ran a 15:19.22 in the 5000 meter run, the best NCAC Championship time by an Allegheny rookie. Steiner then anchored the first-place distance medley relay on Saturday, running a 4:24 mile split and besting the second-place relay team from Wooster by .01 seconds.
