Allegheny junior Chris Marker was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Cross Cross Country Runner of the Week on Sunday. Marker placed second of 200 competitors at Calvin College's Knight Invitational on Saturday, clocking in with a time of 25:01.3 on the eight-kilometer course.

Marker finished five seconds behind the individual winner, Zach Ripley of Cornerstone University, while leading the Gators to the team championship.
