Thomas Elcott was a 1980 NCAA Division III national champion in wrestling at 150 pounds.  He compiled a perfect 5-0 record in winning his national title and was a three-time All-American.  Elcott finished second in the nation in 1981 and fourth in 1979.  He competed in the NCAA Division I national championship in both 1980 and 1981 and was a 1981 recipient of William E. Johnson Trophy Outstanding Allegheny Wrestler Award.  Thomas helped Allegheny to 14th place NCAA Division III finishes and third place Presidents’ Athletic Conference finishes in both 1980 and 1981.  He was also a three-time PAC runner-up at 150 lbs and a three year letter-winner for the Gators.
