Allegheny College Athletics

Swimmer Ron Beegle earned six career All-America awards and set five school records in the freestyle and butterfly events. Beegle helped Allegheny place in the top 10 in the nation three times and win Presidents' Athletic Conference championships in 1982, 1983 and 1984. He earned 18 All-PAC awards over his career and was named the Gators' Most Valuable Swimmer in 1984.
