Allegheny College Athletics

Melissa Vogel was Allegheny’s 1986-87 Female Athlete of the Year, she held the remarkable distinction of playing on four consecutive NCAA Tournament teams in both softball and basketball.  In softball, she was a two-time All America outfielder and batted .505 her senior season.  In basketball, she was a two time All-NCAC selection.  At the end of her career, she ranked second on Allegheny’s career rebounding list, with 620, and seventh in scoring, with 825 points.
