Allegheny College Athletics

Laura Laderer Hartford was the first woman in the history of Allegheny College to attain All-American honors, an honor she repeated 12 times.  She was a four-year letterwinner and at one point in her career at Allegheny, she held every freestyle (6), butterfly (3) and individual medley (3) records, as well as being part of five record-setting relay teams.  Laura was also named the Female Athlete of the Year her junior year.
